Sprinter is a leader in environmental responsibility.

Recognizing that our work has both direct and indirect effects on the environment, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by educating our employees and encouraging our suppliers and customers to make environmentally responsible choices.

It is a fact that transportation companies depend heavily on fossil fuel to operate. However, we are working hard to reduce our carbon footprint.

We have incorporated efficiency standards as part of overall risk assessment strategies. These new standards include: operating newer equipment that release less carbon emissions into the air, reduction in unloaded miles, cutting fuel consumption, reducing trash production, working with suppliers that produce co-friendly products.

Sprinter participates in the U.S. government’s SmartWay Transport program which is an innovative collaboration between EPA and the freight sector designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions, and improve energy security. Companies that participate in SmartWay Transport programs save money, reduce fuel consumption and are recognized for their social responsibility and leadership.
